Rainbow Wellington is a group (previously operating under the name GAP) representing the Human Rights interests and to organise the social activities for the lesbian, gay, transgender, bisexuals, Intersex, allies and related queer groups in the Greater Wellington region of New Zealand.
We also support campaigns that impact on the LGBTI community domestically and Internationally both with visibility, support in campaigning and fundraising.
Since 1997, Rainbow Wellington as an LGBTI+ organisation has worked to represent, support campaigns and advocate for the human rights of all LGBTI community members here in New Zealand and overseas, provide networking opportunities and visibility for the Wellington LGBTI community and other LGBTI community groups.
