We’re a youth-led,
youth-run organisation
with a Board made up of eight rainbow young people. The Rainbow Youth Executive Board consists of 10 youth, who sequester Advisors as needed to assist.
We provide support, information and advocacy for queer, gender diverse, takatāpui and intersex youth, their friends, whānau, and wider communities
RainbowYOUTH is a charitable organisation that was established in 1989.
We’re here to work with queer, gender diverse, takatāpui & intersex youth, their friends, whānau and wider communities in order to ensure that Aotearoa is a place where all young people can thrive.
All our groups, events and premises are totally alcohol-free, drug-free, and smoke-free, and there is a strong and determined commitment in provided safe environments for youth.
